Juan Diego Flórez’s last London recital with pianist Vincenzo Scalera resulted in The Times proclaiming him “the most thrilling tenor of our age” and “one of the most extraordinary vocal phenomenons of all time”. Juan Diego Flórez undertook music studies both in his native Lima and at the Curtis Institute in Philadelphia. Since then he has appeared at the major opera houses and performed in the world’s greatest opera productions. Future engagements until 2013 are scheduled for La Scala, the Metropolitan Opera House, the Royal Opera House in Covent Garden, the Vienna Staatshoper, the Teatro Regio Turin and the Los Angeles Opera. He has received many awards and prizes including the Abbiati Prize from Italian music critics, L’Opera Award Prize and the Bellini Prize. Book this event
