Fiona Lawrence
Solicitor, Dispute Resolution
Profile:
Since qualifying as a solicitor in 1993, Fiona has worked exclusively in the field of personal injury litigation.
She has extensive experience of employer’s liability, public liability, road traffic accident and clinical negligence claims and has a particular interest in fatal accident, amputation and brain injury cases.
Fiona frequently acts in cases with a high media profile. She represented a number of the injured and bereaved following the Ladbroke Grove and Hatfield rail crashes and was involved in product liability litigation against Dunlop Ltd where defective tyres caused multiple catastrophic injuries and death.
She is currently advising in the “Atomic Veterans Litigation”, a large class action against the Ministry of Defence brought by almost 1000 ex-servicemen from Britain, New Zealand and Fiji who were exposed to radiation during the UK’s nuclear weapons test programme in the Pacific and Australia during the 1950’s.
Fiona is a member of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL).
