Profile:
Peter Kay joined Rosenblatt in 1995 and specialises in commercial real estate. He has over 30 years experience advising on business real estate management and transactions. Peter acts for commercial property investors and developers as well as occupiers of buildings. He has wide experience advising on real estate acquisitions including dealing with portfolio transactions (and the re-financing of portfolios) involving shopping centres, office buildings and industrial estates. Peter also works closely with the property litigators at Rosenblatt advising on commercial solutions to property disputes.
Recently, Peter has acted on leases of new HQ buildings in the City and the West End for a newspaper/magazine publisher and a media/advertising company respectively. He has also acted on the acquisition of a major Oxford Street building for an off-shore investor and the grant to MaxMara of the lease of its Mayfair store.
Outside the law, Peter, is a (non-playing) member of London Irish Rugby Football Club and enjoys following them to far-flung corners of Ireland, Italy and France in their European competitions.
