Issue 14 - Winter 2012
Welcome to 2012. Rather than reflecting on the past 12
months, I would rather look forward. But it seems a rather
pointless exercise to attempt to look at how we will fare this year, particularly these days.
However, our firm enters its 23rd year highly motivated, and with a great team of excellent lawyers who are winning business and succeeding for its clients.
Rosenblatt is an organically grown law business – we have never merged, we have never bolted on teams, and we have done what we have done in our own way and on our own. We are very proud of that.
We are very proud of Karen Wilson, our receptionist, who was my first employee, in 1989. And of Tania MacLeod, my first trainee, in 1991, and who has now been our managing partner for ten years or more. So, too, of Neil Sampson (here 18 years), of Clive Hyer (also 18 years), and of Elizabeth Shaw, known to many as Larkins, who came here aged 19 to do work experience as a student, and then trained with the firm and who has just become a partner.
I am of course equally proud of all my partners and colleagues, without whom we would not have a business, and who support our efforts with determination and flair. So, sincere thanks to them and sincere thanks to our clients and friends – and heartfelt wishes for a wonderful 2012.
