Elizabeth Shaw joined Rosenblatt for a six month work placement as part of her degree back in 2000. After finishing law school in 2002 she rejoined Rosenblatt for her training contract and has been with Rosenblatt ever since. She became partner in November 2011.
Elizabeth’s areas of expertise include public and private mergers and acquisitions, initial public offerings and secondary placings. Elizabeth also works on management buy-outs and buy-ins, as well as on private equity and venture capital transactions.
Recent deals that Elizabeth has been involved in include: the sale of Carnival Film & Television to NBC, the re-admission of Expansys plc on AIM, the listing of Allanfield Group plc on AIM, various secondary placings, including Redstone Group plc, ILX Group plc, Telford Homes, Active Risk Group (formerly Strategic Thought Group), Brulines Group, Eco Animal Health plc and Entertainment One Limited. Elizabeth also recently acted on the investment by Maven Capital Partners in Ely Property, the investment by Catapult Venture Managers in Hangar Seven, the investments by IBIS Media VCT in Contagious Communications and Ginx TV, as well as other private acquisitions and sales.
