Rosenblatt Limited is a fast paced company. We consider ourselves a driver and a commercialist who is keen to leave traditional legalisms in the past where it is beneficial to our clients for us to do so. We look for graduates with the qualities needed to demonstrate this to our clients and the innovation to actively contribute new ideas and become intrinsic members of our team.
A training contract with us
A 2-year training contract with Rosenblatt is an opportunity to benefit from an unusually high and direct exposure to partners. Many of our partners and other senior specialists trained with Rosenblatt which reflects the company’s investment in you as an individual and your career progression. It follows from the way that Rosenblatt has organically grown its own talent pool, that you will be viewed as our company’s next generation of leaders. Your contribution will be valued, you will be treated as an individual and be able to operate in a work environment that is supportive.
At Rosenblatt, a lot will be expected of you. You will quickly be given real responsibility for live matters. Those who have trained with us agree that to thrive here you need stamina, flexibility, resilience and a good dose of common sense. They also agree that the outcome this training is that come qualification you will be best prepared to begin your qualified career.
Trainees will undertake 6-month mandatory seats in both our Dispute Resolution and Corporate Departments. (Note, that our Corporate Department includes our Commercial/IP/Media, Banking and Tax Teams). Although we do not currently offer discrete seats in these areas, trainees who have shown willing have been able to secure significant amounts of experience allowing them to qualify into related areas.
Our business remains responsive to the market and the needs of our clients. Consequently, besides your Dispute Resolution and Corporate seats, there may be the opportunity to undertake a hybrid seat and spend a further 6 months, for example, in our Employment, White Collar Crime & Financial Fraud and Real Estate Departments.
Training tailored to you
We recognise that although there may be prevailing business needs, your ability to develop your training to reflect your personal legal interests will be important to you. Although seat allocations must be logistically feasible, we will always try to accommodate requests where it is possible.
Initial successful applicants will be chosen to be invited to a week’s vacation scheme with the company in Summer 2021. During this week there will be formal assessments and an interview which will determine your suitability for a training contract place.

Academic requirements: A minimum of ABB at A level or equivalent, in addition to a predicted (or achieved) 2.1 degree. Rosenblatt recruits graduates from both Law and other disciplines.
Applications for 2023 will be open from January 2021 until 30 April 2021. Feedback for all candidates will be provided during May 2021.
