We handle contentious insolvency. Our litigators advise on preferences, transactions at undervalue, wrongful trading, director misfeasance, fraudulent investment schemes and other reviewable dealings by insolvent companies acting for insolvency practitioners and for defendants.
We act for creditors, directors, insolvency practitioners, lenders, investors and other stakeholders in circumstances where a company or individual is experiencing financial difficulties, is insolvent, or is affected by a business critical event such as insolvency of crucial customers or suppliers or fraud within their own organisation or externally.
We also handle non-contentious aspects of corporate and personal insolvencies, turnaround, restructuring and insolvency issues across a range of areas, involving corporate collapses, commercial property and tax issues. We advise directors and shareholders, and administrators, liquidators and trustees in bankruptcy on non-contentious aspects of corporate and personal insolvencies, including in relation to CVA and IVA proposals, and with moratoriums and we can advise on Restructuring Plans.
