Rosenblatt Limited (‘’RBL’’) Appoints Two New Partners

11th September 2020

Rosenblatt Limited (“RBL”), one of the UK’s leading law firms, is pleased to announce that it has appointed two new partners as part of the continued expansion of the business. Robert Bell and Jeremy Landau join RBL as Corporate Partners.

Robert Bell is a Competition & Regulatory Partner in the Corporate Department with over 30 years’ experience advising clients on complex competition and regulatory matters involving some of the leading cases before the Competition & Markets Authority, the European Commission, and the UK Courts. He has advised clients on a range of competition law issues including merger control, cartels, restrictive practices and competition litigation, representing them before competition regulators like the CMA, OFCOM, FCA and the EU Commission and national courts. He has extensive experience of advising private sector suppliers on the application of public procurement law, ensuring that their rights are safeguarded in the tender process so that they are placed in the best position to successfully secure public sector contracts. Robert has a sector specialism in advising international technology companies and others on the application of competition law to e-commerce and digital platforms. He also advises on a range of other regulatory issues including international trade and customs, economic sanctions, state aid, national security and foreign investment filings.

Robert is currently Chair of the City of London Law Society Competition Law Committee, which liaises with the UK Government, and UK and EU competition regulators in connection with the reform of competition law and practice. He is also Master of the Worshipful Company of Solicitors of the City of London 2020-21. Robert is recognised as one of London’s leading lawyers by Chambers and Legal 500.

Jeremy Landau has worked in all forms of corporate finance, domestic and cross-border M&A and private equity over the last 20 years. He has extensive experience of transactions in a broad range of sectors, with particular emphasis on the technology, media and communications, fin tech, healthcare/life sciences, financial services, energy/natural resources, cleantech, leisure and retail sectors.

In addition, Jeremy has a wealth of experience of advising companies (both domestic and international), as well as investment banks, on IPOs and fundraisings on the London Stock Exchanges’ Official List and AIM Market.

He is also listed in both the Chambers Guide to the Legal Profession and the Legal 500, as a leading lawyer in relation to Corporate/Corporate Finance transactions. Jeremy has also been selected by Thomson Reuters in 2015, 2016 and 2017 as a ‘London Super Lawyer’ for Corporate Finance transactions.

Rosenblatt Limited (“RBL”) is one of the UK’s leading law firms and is a subsidiary of the professional services group, RBG Holdings plc. RBL provides a range of legal services to its diversified client base, which includes companies, banks, entrepreneurs and individuals. It is complemented by its increasingly international footprint, which advises on complex cross-jurisdictional matters.

Nicola Foulston, Chief Executive, said: “These two appointments fit perfectly into our strategy of focusing on high-margin legal work. Having Robert and Jeremy join with their wealth of experience further develops our efficient corporate offering and demonstrates our ability to bring in specific, high-quality talent to meet the needs of our existing clients. I am delighted to welcome both to the firm.”
